Force remove host from vCenter

Hello Guys,

Can anyone let me know how to force remove a dead host from vCenter inventory.

The host doesn't exist anymore but still available as "disconnected" in vCenter.

For saving time, I had to use same hostname and ip on new host.

Then the vCenter marked the host as active and allowed to remove the object.

Then I reconfigured the host.

Have you tried right clicking on the dead host and select remove from inventory?

That's the first step I did, mate.

There was some powered off VMs available on that host.

Due to this, "remove from inventory" was throwing error to first remove VMs from it.
Also, those VMs were "inaccessible", hence unable to remove them too
