Failed to deploy VM: vim.fault.InvalidState

Hi,

I've recently installed VMWare ESxi 6.7 and am trying to import an OVA file.

However, I keep getting the error, "Failed to deploy VM: vim.fault.InvalidState"

The invalid state error appears even when I try to create a VM using an ISO image, where I provision the resource myself.

Please suggest.

I am accessing the ESxi via browser since am using a MAC and it doest have the vSphere client.

You were right, it was in maintenance mode.  I took it out of maintenance mode and managed to import the VM, however, still getting the error.

Is the host evaluation license expired ?

I was pretty impatient not to notice the ESXi taking some time to import the OVA from my laptop over WiFi!

Anyway, its now working fine!
