VMw vSph EssPlus Kit 6P 3yr E-LTU license is a lifetime or needs to renew it yearly.

As I understand it, the Essentials Plus licence is lifetime but you can only buy it with either 1 or 3 year support. You can then choose to renew the support contract when it expires.
