I'm trying to create a Windows 2019 ISO with vmxnet3 and pvscsi drivers pre-installed. Problem is that I can't find where to get the drivers separate from VMTools. And the instructions for running setup /a to extract the drivers isn't working.
Does anyone else have a pointer of where to get standalone drivers?
here is the procedure to extract the drivers: https://www.niallbrady.com/2019/05/17/how-to-find-and-extract-vmware-esxi-drivers/

I had found that article, but I was trying with the latest version of the installer and it didn't work. I tried again and used the same version as the article and it worked great.
Thank you
note that vmxnet3/pvscsi is updated via wsus in server2019 - so dont worry about the version you start with
