Exchange DAG with vMotion/snapshots

Hello,

Microsoft Exchange 2013 DAG cluster fails over the databases during vMotion and snashots, and this causes an outage in email services until the vmotion, or snapshot-release to be finished. The MS cluster settings are already configured according to your guide here:

but it seems that this is not appropriate for environment, we have 9 Exchange servers, with more than 10K mailboxes.

Any recommendations please?

we maintain separate cluster(DRS disabled) for exchange or we create affinity rules for exchange VM's so that vmotion will not happen. Whenever we want to take host for maintenance will work with exchange team for downtime.

A dedicated cluster is already used for Exchange, but DRS is enabled. Do you face the sane issue? haven't you tried to edit the MS cluster attributes for this?

exchange cluster is sensitive, we were instructed to have DRS disabled. Since then we did not receive any complaints from exchange admins.
