Error when trying to stage Updates/Patches to our ESXi Hosts through VC Server

I'm trying to stage missing updates/patches to our Two ESXi6.0 Hosts and am receiving the following error:

Stage patches to entity XXXXXX.XXX.local The host returns esxupdate error code: 15. The package manager transaction is

not successful. Check the Update Manager log files and esxupdate log files for more details.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Regards,

Thanks for the KB on how to resolve. I've enabled SSH but can only log into the VCS console, or physically on the GUI setup page of each of the hosts. When I try to access the 'console' for each of the HOSTS it's always denying me access.

Yes I did, user was root. The passwords that I was using to access the GUI locally on the Hosts should be the same as the 'console' but it keeps denying me access.

Can you check whether the firewall is blocking ssh?

You are enabling the ssh as mentioned below:

Yep,

SSH is enabled as is ESXi Shell and Direct Console UI.

I can log into VCenter Server, just not the individual hosts. Even through the vSphere Client I am told that I do not have permission to log into the hosts.

I get the untrusted SSL Cert warning which I click thru then
