I am having trouble installing vsphere on a desktop for my lab environment. Any help would be appreciated. Attached below is a picture of the error logs I am receiving. I have tried googling the error codes and have not had any luck. Thanks for your help!
The best thought is to get used server hardware or something else which is known to at least run ESXi.
Short answer is, if you're seeing this, it probably won't work at all. And when you say "vSphere" you actually mean ESXi. vSphere is a bundling of vCenter + ESXi. ESXi is for server-class hardware and, while some select desktops work, most do not.
daphnissov,
Thanks for the quick response and for clarification on the terminology.
Any ideas of something I could try to get it working? My thought was to try an older version as well.
Thanks
