Error 1355 Read beyond end of object

Hi All !

I used a BackupExec storage solution and since i grow up a partition, when i try to backup it, i've got a VMWare message on my log:

VixDiskLib error 1355 (Read beyond end of object)

VixDiskLib: VixDiskLib_Read: Read 128 sectors at 2127488 failed. Error 1 (unknown error) (DiskLib error 1355: Read beyond end of object)

I try to used VMotion, Change Thin to Thick, Format Windows Partition etc... but the errors appears.

Hello! Can you check if there are active or truncated snapshots?

Also check the VM directory for the existence of delta files.

In case this is the cause, I recommend that you try cloning the VM using VMware Converter to avoid leaving your machine in an unusable state.

I Launched RVTools to check but no zombie for this machine appears...

Did you have a tools to check a misaligned of vmdk ?
