Enhanced Linked Mode (ELM) - vSphere 6.7 with a vSphere 6.5 Update 2 Platform (Embedded)

Hello folks,

I know since vSphere 6.5 Update 2 you can do Enhanced Linked Mode with the Embedded Topology. I need to know if i can accomplish configuring ELM from a new vSphere 6.7 to a vSphere 6.5 Update 2 exisiting plataform and upgrade it lately.

Is this possible or i have the requirement to have the same versions on both sides.

It's only supported to run mixed versions during the upgrade process. If they are not linked now I would personally upgrade the 6.5 environment to 6.7 prior to configuring ELM.
