Enable copy paste from Linux VM in vCenter

Here what VMware says:

"Procedure

  1. Right-click a virtual machine in the inventory and select Edit Settings.
  2. Click the VM Options tab and expand Advanced.
  3. Click Edit Configuration.
  4. (Optional) To add a parameter, click Add Row and type a name and value for the parameter.
  5. (Optional) To change a parameter, type a new value in the Value text box for that parameter.
  6. Click OK."

Question:
I´m Administrator and it´s not possible to add rows and enter values under this path:

a) Edit settings for VM
b) VM Option
-Advanced -Configuration Parameters
c) Edit Configuration

Cant add rows and values - please see sreenshot:
No other policies in place prenvents copy and paste.

Really appreciate your answer of how I can enable
"Copy and Paste" from VM console to my client desktop.

VM has to be powered off before you can add an entry or modify it.
