Enable Fault Tolerance over Vsan ends with error "The operation is not supported on the object."

Hi All,

I had checked that it is possible to use FT in Vsan environments. However, when I try to enable FT , Select host step gives "The operation is not supported on the object."

I believe I had already complete other prerequisites. Is there a trick to run FT over Vsan cluster?

Hey, hope you are doing fine

Can you provide a little more information?

What version of vSphere and vSAN are you using?
How many vCPU's does your VM have?
What license do you have?
Have you tried the steps on: VMware Knowledge Base, VMware Knowledge Base?
Are you able to power off the VMs and try?

Hope this works

Hi Nachogonzales,

VMware ESXi, 6.7.0, 15160138

VCenter Server Appliance 6.7.44000

Vsan 6.7

There is 4 vCPU on the VM

The System is running in evaluation mode, therefore, I Expect all licenses to be enabled including FT.

I'm enabling FT while it is şowered on.

I'll look into knowledgebase articles asap.
