EVC availability with essential kits

I want to build a cluster using a old R740 server with a new R450 server and a storage array. The family of CPUs are not compatible for vmotion (intel icelake and cascadelake family).

I have a Vsphere essential plus kit licence available.

Could i use the EVC feature with my essential plus kit licence to resolve my compatibilty issue ?

Yes you can.

 iiRC you can also creating a Cluster with the non-essentials bundle and enable EVC. Doesnt make that much sense but it is possible.

Ok. To be sure to understand, there is no limitation on essential plus kit licences to use Enhanced Vmotion Compatibility feature.
