I had a power failure while restoring a VM to a my ESX server. Is there a way to somehow scan or check the datastore's integrity within the vSphere web client? I don't see any options in there..

ESXi checks the VMFS datastore when mounting it. There is also the VOMA tool available that you can use to check metadata consistency, but you can only use it on datastore with no running VMs on it: VMware Knowledge Base
