ESXi vDS Vcenter vmotion

Hi All,

As you can see in the topic, i need to know relationship details between those titles, how esxis coomunicate each others? what protocol and port they use when vmotion enabled and also vds configured with two nic as active standby nic teaming.

does it make sense if you deploy hosts into different sites behind core switches which is belong different vendors.

Start by reading this KB which has the list of port requirements (vMotion is over TCP 8000). The general documentation for vSphere would also be a good idea to read.
