ESXi host frequently loosing mgmt network connectivity

We have UCS blade where ESXi installed when we installed the ESXi and configured management IP address. everything went well till DCUI config and test network.
Also we are able to add the host into vcenter as well but it's frequently disconnecting and unable to access host client.

what could be the reason as we already checked all IP conflict and IP pool from UCSM and also verified MAC conflict from UCS service profile. all looks good from UCS config, but still management network flapping for ESXi host.

any suggestion why?

Hi Scott,
Both threads are different one and in different Environment as well.
there is no any connection between those two threads.
Both issues are separate one.

What's the failover scenario for management network, aka, is there an ether channel? if so what's the network failover detection method employed.

Also, look on vobd.log for failure criteria of the specific vmnic, refer to kb below

Network adapter (vmnic) is down or fails with a failed criteria code (2014553) (vmware.com)

After you get the failure criteria, you can develop more on it ?

Hello,
The esxi host freshly installed and only have vmk0 created for mgmt network and also only vmnic0 is assigned on that.
no other configuration done, but still it's flapping.
On switch level ports are trunked, all VLAN passed. esxi mgmt network working on default VLAN ID 1 for all other hosts inside env. only this particular host has an issue.

If its still flapping, You can access the console via DCUI (alt+F2) and look for vobd.log for vmnic0, it shall give u more info on the reason for nic going down.
