Hello, Please see below screenshot. The client cannot connect to host(6.7). No any problem in physical connection. vcsa can logon to the host without any issues. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
Hi @frankygmail ,
If you are using the Windows client like below, you should be aware that this is no longer supported. That is why it isn't working. See the below blogpost:
https://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2016/05/goodbye-vsphere-client-for-windows-c-hello-html5.html
Furthermore, you should use the HTML5 client. Just go to the IP address in your browser. From there on you should be able to login to the ESXi host.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Based on your suggestion, I can logon to the host by vcsa, but I cannot logon to the below interface(Web Client). Is there any way that I can logon to the below interface?
Can you please clarify this?
You say that you cannot login, but you are already logged in into the vCSA UI !?
To loin directly to an ESXi host, use its IP address, or FQDN in the browser, and login as the "root" user. If connection is refused, you may have Lockdown Mode enabled on the host.

Hi
If you need to login to the ESXI host using the WebClient -type the IP or host name to the new tab using Root account and password
If this didn't work check the lockdown mode from VC if this host connected to the VC
Check also the setting from iLo or DCUI
@ a_p_,
The second picture that i posted is from somebody's video, have you seen the triangle in the screenshot? that is video screenshot.
Hi @frankygmail ,
I think we do not understand what you are trying to ask here.
So you can login to the ESXi Host Client, but not into the vSphere Web Client (vCenter Server Flash Client) like in the screenshot you attached?
I'll try to explain this to you:
I hope this explains everything.
