We're facing EOL for the Dell Compellent Storage Center, where all of our ESXi host installs live. We've already implemented Dell PowerStore and migrated all VM's and Datastores over to it; the host OS installs are all that's left. Here's the basic layout of our setup:
- vCenter Server
- 3 Clusters
- 14 Hosts
- Many VM's.
The hosts are all set to boot from SAN (FC, we don't use iSCSI.) What's the best way to go about getting these hosts moved over to PowerStore? We're currently looking into this solution, but it's not ideal because it would require us setting up a bespoke iSCSI network.
