ESXi 6.0 u3d (and u3e) patches

Hello all,

I was looking at patching some of the ESXi servers to 6.0 U3D but notice that the Update Manager has those patches on 1/9/18 marked as Not Applicable and the only patches available are the 6.0 U3E patches.

I've looked at the patch descriptions and it seems that u3e has a 'minor' bug fix along with the microcode (meltdown/spectre) patches; is that why the u3d patches are not applicable?

VMware withdrew the patches from 1/9/18 due to the Intel microcode issue. Go with the current patches.
