I am relatively new into VMware, so I have a few questions regarding the ESXi 5.5 -> ESXi 6.7u1 upgrade process.
So until now, we had an ESXi 5.5 server. Couple months ago we bought a new ESXi 6.7u1 server, and a my colleague activated it and configured it.Recently I noticed that we have a VMware vSphere 6 Essentials Kit license (for 6 physical processors). Due to the fact that our new server has 2 processors, and our old server also has two processors, we can apply these license to the old ESXi 5.5 server, but first we have to upgrade it.
Can anyone give me information/manuals how to carry out the ESXi 5.5 -> ESXi 6.7u1 upgrade process, licensing and all that goes with it?
