dear sir,
I try to install VM on esxi 6.5 via internal CD drive but I can't able to access cd rom and usb, so only I able upload iso image to vsan datastore via install every time.
Are you following steps provided in below doc:
Add a CD or DVD Drive to a Virtual Machine in the vSphere Web Client
