ESXI 6.7 free edition and virtual TPM

Hi,

Am I right in thinking that in order to use virtual TPM, I need to:

1. Connection ESXI to a KMS
2. Enable the store policy to encrypt.

And then this is only possible via vCenter ?

Was just wondering if there was a solution similar to what is done with VM Workstation ?
