ESXI 6.7 - Where to enable Round Robin

Hello!

In previous versions of ESXI, we were able to set up Round Robin.  In 6.7, we cannot find it anywhere.  I've tried googling and nothing comes up for 6.7.  Does anyone have any idea?  6.7 is web based as other versions we have are ran through the vsphere client and 6.7 we can't use the client.

Thanks!

Hi thanks for your response!  I've already been to this site and at first it looked promising but there is no "configure" tab to begin with.  We can see our storage devices but nothing to configure not even multipathing.

I'm afraid the the Path Management is unfortunately not (yet?) available in the Embedded Host Client.

Because he is using the vSphere Web Client and is connected to a vCenter and you are using the ESXi host client and are connected directly to an ESXi host.

If you click on Storage and select the Adapters tab. Is there a button with "Configure iSCSI"?

I'm using vcenter.

You can try: VMware vSphere 6.5 Documentation Library

I am using vSphere web client as isn't this my only option for 6.7?  I can configure the iSCSI through the adapters tab.

Hello all,

It's an old but very important topic for those who don't use vCenter. You can select the multipathing policy through the CLI. Check this article:

https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2000552

Before issuing the "set" command you can check the current configuration with the command below:

esxcli storage nmp device list

Cheers,

Tales
