Does it need to turn off DirectPath I/O on VMXNET3 adapter?

Hello

I'm wondering if anyone has any information about the impact of having the checkbox for DirectPath enabled but DirectPath itself being inactive, whether this causes any issues or not?

Here are screenshots of what I'm talking about.

Diego Oliveira,

This is not what I'm talking about. By reference it is a question of using "DirectPath I/O", in my case "DirectPath I/O" on hosts is not used.

Vmware had a problem when creating a new VM, the checkbox "DirectPath I/O" was automatically put. As a result, I have a lot of VMs with a checkbox "DirectPath I/O".

Ahh! Nice you noticed it Smiley Happy Since the DirectPath I/O is inactive in the backend, I don't think this is an issue. Looks to be an issue with the GUI.

Cheers,

Supreet

Did you ever manage to resolve this? I'm experiencing the same thing.
