Disk space cannot be changed (not greyed out, no snapshot)

Hi,

vCenter 7.0 and ESXi 6.7 hosts here. In vCenter we cannot change disk sizes. The box is not greyed out and no snapshots there. The size cannot be edited, (backspace does not work, you cannot delete or add a number, etc).

Via Powershell or the host itself, we can change the disk sizes but as I said not in the vCenter web. Seems like a product or graphical bug. Any help out there?

Thanks

Hi

The issue is caused by a mismatching SSL trust in the vCenter Server lookupservice.

Hello.
Your problem is common, and is mostly due to the browser you are using and even the browser version.
You could try Edge, Firefox ESR, Waterfox Classic.

You could indicate the builds of vcenter 7.0 and ESXi host 6.7, you checked their compatibility.

Hi

I tested Chrome, FF ESR and Edge. All have the same issue.

Hello.
Maybe you can downgrade the vcenter server to version 7.0 Update 2 which is more stable.

Lots of time and trouble to downgrade it.

I still hope we can find a way to resolve this annoying bug

Hello,

I disconnected the host from VCenter and did afterwards an reconnect

Now it was possible to change the size and the certificate issue was also gone.
