Dears
We have an ESX Cluster with the below resources .
We have defined a single resource pool inside the Cluster . All VMs in this ESX Cluster are defined under this resource pool
However when we look at the resource Pool , we see the resource pool capacity is less than that of Cluster capacity ( CPU / Memory etc )
Is this normal ?
How can we explain this ?
Also what do you mean by the Worst Case Allocation ? How is it calculated ?
Also when we look at the Resource pool utilization , we see the memory utilization is reaching the worst case allocation mark ( 432GB and not 114GB as shown in the resource pool summary ). is any impact expected with the current utilization levels ?
Appreciate your quick response in this regard.

Resource Pool Utilization
===================
Worst Case Allocation is the total amount of memory of your VM when all VMs in the cluster consume their full amount of allocated resources or when overcommitment happens this is what amount of memory that VM can get. It might includes memory overhead that's why it is larger than configured memory. You can go with below links for more understandin.

For me it looks like a bug in the GUI. The worst case memory in the pool view is exactly the same value as for CPU.
Same here with vCenter 6.7u3f!

Hahahaha.... Bug exists only in H5 and not in the old Web Client(Flash).

Thank you for your quick help & update
However , in this case it is a resource pool of multiple VMs and not a single VM
So how will the worst case allocation setting work ?
Also what explains the difference between the total cpu / memory in the ESX Cluster and that in the resource pool ? Is it the reservation we define in the resource pool ?
In our case , there is only 1 resource pool in the cluster . So does it make sense to align the resource pool reservation with that of the Cluster capacity ? Or will the resource pool take extra resources from the cluster when in need ?
