Disable "Work In Progress" Feature

Is there a way to disable the "Work In Progress" in the vSphere Web Client? I've closed the pane, but it's highly irritating when a task fails that I cancel it in the task list, and then cancel it once more when retrying the task in the UI. I'm sure this feature contributes to the poor performance of the client, and as we don't use it I'm wondering if it is possible to disable the feature.

I think the will do it for you: set the following flag to false in vShpere Web Client:

show.allusers.tasks = false
