Deploy OVA files?

Hi,

I exported a vApp as a "folder of files" which meant OVA. What got imported was around 50 VMDK files running from disk1 through disk50. How do I use this for importing as another vApp?

Thank you

Why don't you clone it? Anyway, there should be a .ovf file there as well, this should allow you to import it.

I double checked and all of them are just VMDK files. No OVF. I exported [read - downloaded] this vApp from VCD.

Can you please let me know by what do you mean by 'cloning' it?

Is there a way to re-build the OVF file?

Hi, are you trying to export this from vCloud?

If so, click on the vApp you need, click add to catalog, then once its added to the catalog, you can then download it and import it into vSphere etc

Thank you for your reply!

Yes, that's exactly what I've done. I've gotten only vmdk files though. How would I go about importing it?
