Decrease partitions or disks ESXi6.0

Hi all,

I have a vm under Windows 2012 server, hosted on an ESXi 6.0
this vm contains (01) single disk with two (02) partitions (C:\ & D:\)
The previous engineer did not follow good practices to create a vdisk for each partition...whatever
I want to reduce the size of both partitions.
reduce C:\ by 10 GB
reduce D:\ by 100 GB
knowing that the server is an FTP server for remote clients, and their data folders are in the D:\
partition and I do not want to redo the entire server because of the passwords that must be changed on
the remote clients...Etc
what is the action plan in this case and the steps to follow?
THANKS

The VMware Converter is what you want to look at.
I found a web-site with an example that explains the required steps.

https://us.informatiweb-pro.net/virtualization/vmware/vmware-esxi-6-7-slice-the-virtual-hard-disk-of...

What I suggest that you do in advance, is to resize/decrease the partitions from within Windows prior to run the converter.

Hi,

The only solution is to use Vmware vCenter Converter.

Using standard vCenter tools it is not possible to achieve.
