Datastore ran out of space

Hi All,

This evening my datastore ran out of space which is currently shared between 3 VMs on 2 different vCenters being 6.0 U3 and 6.7 U2 the storage is FC attached block vmfs.

Tonight the datastore ran out of space which brought down the SQL server running on it. When i look at all of the guests they are configured as Thick provisioned so i can't figure our what filled it up, are they any logs that could help me identify which guest and which disk was filling the LUN up??

Do the VMs have active snapshots (e.g. created by a backup application)?

Please note that the Snapshot Manager is not always a reliable source to check for snapshots, so it's better to check the VM's virtual disks' file names, i.e. if they have names like "<vmname>-00000x,vmdk".
