DELL R7415 Intel X710-DA4 SR-IOV PCIPassthru: Failed to register device 0000:05:0a.0 error = 0x26
Hi,
have a brand new Dell R7415 server running ESXi 6.5 U2 (latest), driver lastest, (NIC) firmware lastest.
This buildin Broadcom 2*10Gbit ethernet card works fine with SR-IOV (I had to enable SR-IOV on NIC level in the BIOS).
I installed now a additional Intel X710 card, enabled SR-IOV in ESXi, but there is no BIOS setting to enable SR-IOV on the NIC level.
Get now this messages, as soon I start a VM with a SR-IOV VNIC. The config seams for me okay, there is a note, that SR-IOV need not to entered in /etc/vmware/passthru.map.
Anyone?
