DCUI / Host display unresponsive

Hi,

I have a setup of multiple MacPros 6,1 as ESXi hosts. All of them are working without any monitor connected.

The problem i am facing is if the hosts are booted without monitor connected and i connect a HDMI monitor later on there is no display.

I tried connecting a keyboard to bring the DCUI back from sleep but no luck. I know DCUI is working because i could enter blind keystrokes to reboot the host.

Anyone knows the solution to this problem?

Thanks,

Shantur

Press Alt F12 which gives the vmkernel log live view.. check if there are any underlying storage issues going on for the host and if you are seeing hostd unresponsive messages there

Thanks,

There is no display on monitor. The monitor shows "No signal on HDMI" and pressing keys on keyboard doesn't bring it back.

Have you made any headway on this?

I have the same issue, and I see questions from others on these forums about this issue.
