Change of License Type stopped USB Connection

Hi all,

i am having an issue which is causing great pain. I have recently gone from my 6.7 evaluation license to the 6.7 essentials license (i am a student so £600 was quite steep but I guess necessary to continue my project).

Anyway, whilst in evaluation mode I was seamlessly able to map an old Sentinel license dongle from the host to my VM using ”add USB device” in the VM settings menu. Very easy. This theN enabled my modelling software to find the license and run on the VM.

Now I’m on the essentials license I can’t seem to do this anymore. Surely the mapping of a USB device from a host to a VM is not a feature from the more costly licenses??

Im struggling to find any KB article on this.

Has as anyone seen this before? I just need to get the license dongle mapped back to my VM, that can’t be that hard can it??? (I guess it is for me)

thanks in advance
