Change NAS and keep same VMs from one esxi-server to another

Hi,

Now lets say we have esxi1 with vcenter , running VMs from a NAS. Is it possible to disconnect this NAS from esxi1, then connect it to another Esxi on another building (with other vCenter, another environment) and register VMs on new esxi? Is it going to be easy or should I make it another way?

Best Regards,
Frank

Yes, certainly possible and shouldn't be a big deal especially if using NFS. However with all storage-related swings and reconfiguration, it's a very good idea to ensure you have "just-in-case" full backups of those VMs prior to you performing that switch.
