Cannot migrate vm due to available memory resources... but I have plenty of resources.

Has anyone had an issue with not being able to migrate a VM? It's literally the last VM on this host and I'm getting the following error:

The available Memory resources in the parent resource pool are insufficient for the operation.

The target host has 32GB available, and the VM has 4GB of memory allocated.

Hi @Mflood ,

Please check if this VM has memory reservation.  Edit Resource Settings

Hope that helps.

How many vCPUs does the VM have? How about the target host?

The VM has 1 vCPU.

I was getting the error before and after moving other VMs off the source host. It seems to be bugged?

I wouldn't think so, most linkely there is a reservation causing any error.
Check your cluster, resource pool and VMs for reservations.
