after deploying VCSA for first time you should login with administrator@vsphere.local

Then you can join VCSA to domain and add identity source, any other account will not work. Unless you have custom domain instead of vSphere.local

Hello @gciscol

There are two users. When login into the vCenter appliance management (https://FQDNorIPoftheVCSA:5480) you use the user "root"

When login into the vCenter itself for the first time, you need to provide the SSO admin user credentials set during setup. By default this is administrator@vsphere.local.

Regards

Daniel

In case if you are using wrong user , you should first use administrator@vsphere.local.
Alternatively , you can verify by login to vami port 5480 , just to ensure all services are healthy and no underlying issue
