Hello,
I try to edit/add/delete a vAppConfig on power on/ power off Vm by vSphere API(ReconfigVM_Task). It works. Do not return any error message. And the attributes of vAppConfig are all correct after task is finished.
However I try to add/edit/delete vApp config through vSphere client(version 6.0) or vmware web client. I cannot do it due to the virtual machine is running.
I cannot understand why the behavior of vSphere API and vmware web client are different. It is a bug? It is safe to add vApp Config on a power on vm?
