Can't delete VM @ ESXi 7.0 UP1

Hello,

using the ESXi 7.0 U1 webpage command I tried to delete a VM that is powered off when the ACTION> DELETE command but the error message "Failed to delete virtual machine.

The attempted operation cannot be performed in the current state (Powered off)" appears.

If I try to apply the ACTION> UNREGISTER command, the error "Failed to unregister at least one virtual machine" appears.

How can I delete this VM? Has anyone had this kind of problem before?

Ivan

I have received assistance from Dell's Italian Technical Support Service. A hypervisor restart was done with the command

# /etc/init.d/hostd restart

after the restart it was possible to unregister the VM with the command

# vim-cid / vmsvc / unregister 5

(where "5" is the VM ID to delete)
