I can't add my VMware host to the system
Cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password.
Are you able to login with same user name and password in ui
Log into the console(shell) and type in "pam_tally2" to see if the user account is locked.

Do you have console access to the host?It is possible that the credentials are locked
