Can't Reset Virtual Server Running Server 2012R

Greetings all,

We've run into an issue regarding one of our virtual servers. Our vendor has requested that we do a factory reset after a software test installation as so to ensure a clean installation, now that testing is complete.

So when we attempted to do so, it will not allow us to attach an external drive, or even run an ISO file from another to do so. We are hoping if we can get this particular virtual windows server to see the external drive, so we can skip the reset of 2012R, and just go ahead and install Server 2016 which is preferable.

So right now, we are dead in the water, and we are running 7.5.0. Can anyone please supply an "A" to our "Q"?

Thanks,

Anthony

Which VMware product are you using to host the VM?
