Basics: Example over commitment of ESXI Memory.

As example we have a ESXi whit 2GB Memory, and we have 4 VM’s whit 1GB Memory.

Like here in the Docu:

but what happens if all 4 VM’s will use full of the 1GB Memory, there should be physical 4 GB Memory but only 2 are present in the ESXi … what will be happen in this situation

Please help.

The memory will be swapped to disk and the VMs will likely be very slow
