Backup in vSphere 6.0 + Acronis

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I need to open a port to let Acronis (I cannot use another appliance) backup some VMs? VMs with a database for example.

I only have problems with them. Does the DB's size also matter?

Thank you

This is a question better directed at Acronis than VMware.

Yeah, but this can also with VDP or Veeam. Did you change your firewall rules to make the backups work?

It could be, but it isn't in your case, right?

That depends on the person and their network + security design. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It all depends on what you've done and where.

Thank you. It wasn't a network problem after all, the prefreeze script wasn't well configured.

Cheers
