After upgrading esxi 6.0 to 6.5 , usb dongle key disabled from gust os 2008

Wh have migrated vcenter 6.0 to vcsa 6.5 and later upgraded esxi 6.0 to 6.5 .

Everything working was fine but, it is last 3 to 4 days USB DONGLE KEY IS DISCONNTING FREQUENTLY FROM GUST VM. This usb have a software key for our attendence application.

Did you also upgraded the VMware Tools and VM Compatibility?

Thanks for your reply.

We update vmware tool allready.

We are taking support from VMware Team for the same but no luck.

Aladdin Knowledge Hardlock USB

And how do you use it usually? Thanks.

Its connected to host and we mapped to respective VM via Pass-through.

Did you try to plug it out and back in again? After that map it again to the specific VM.

Yes. But it active means connected for few hours, later disconnected.

Do you still facing this issue in recently? And which is VID:PID of your USB dongle? You can get VID:PID by launching "lsusb" on ESXi console and grab the output. Thanks.
