AD-group - Assign User Permissions for a Virtual Machine

AD-group with limited access to certain VM:s in vcenter (4 Virtual machines in vCenter)

Follwing this:

DC
.... Cluster
......... Resource Pool
..............VM <= ASSIGN PERM HERE

I´ve created AD-group called "testgroup_VM"

Then I choose one VM "test_vm" and under Permissions I´ve choosed:

a) Domain: test.domain.com

b) User/Group: testgroup_VM

c) Role: Virtual machine user (standard role)

c) Propagate to children (It's only a few vm)

Add testuser to AD-group "testgroup_VM"

Now i trying to login to vCenter with testuser using HTML5, i recieve this error message,
please see screenshot - error_message:
"Unable to login because you do not have permission on any vCenter Server systems connected to this client"

What am i doing wrong here?

Really appreciate your answer

🙂

For those who has run in to the same problem.
Untick Propagate to children, then it works.
