vsan vmkernel links down

When enabling vsan services on a new cluster all links on vmkerner adapters with vsan service go down

Assume you mean (to be clear)

IP binding to vmk interface drops off network.

Ex:  I use to be able to ssh into vmk1 which I added to dedicate for vSAN traffic.   I enabled it for vSAN communication and now I can no longer SSH into interface.

Did you check switch that the VMK interface mac also disapears on enable?

Did you baseline with new test vmkernel interface?

Does it do it for one / all hosts

Does it effect vmk mgmt traffic or other network communications to / from host?

Link to interface VSan goes down when activate vsan service on cluster.

a: on the switch the link is up

a: yes

Does it do it for one / all hosts

A: yes all hosts

Does it effect vmk mgmt traffic or other network communications to / from host?

a: no just vsan interface

any clue on this?
