vasa provider and sra is running and not registered with vsphere

Hi All,

Created a new cluster in vCenter (6.5) wich 6 hosts, mounted iSCSI LUNS (datastores) to the hosts, after re scanning the cluster for new storage not visible, the dynamic allocation and static allocation or not showing the targets.

on the Storage providers in the vCenter VASA Status is showing offline in /UI HTML page, vSphere client its showing online.

verified from NetApp UVA VM :

we have an error message on NetApp UVA  VM console  "vasa provider and sra is running and not registered with vsphere" on the Appliance, the VASA service is running fine, we are able to reach from the web console and the certs..valid till 2023.

we have running case with netapp support, if you could please provide any suggestions for finding solution.

Where's the vSAN problem here? I ask as you posted this to vSAN sub-community and every Google search result for the error message you mentioned points to NetApp issues.

No worries at all - just if you post in the incorrect place then you are less likely to get an answer.

vSphere General probably best for most activity:

VMware vSphere™

If you think it may be a cert issue then check the logs mentioned in this kb and/or apply the steps provided:
