vSAN using logical disks..

Hi,

As far as I know it has to be physical disks but still would like to confirm just to I don't have to buy disks unnecessarily.

Is there any way to use logical volumes for vSAN Cache and Capacity disks, or must it be physical disks ?

@TryllZ , Yes, whole unpartitioned physical disks only - do ensure that you acquire devices that are on the vSAN HCL for the version of vSAN in use, certified for the intended purpose (e.g. for SSDs All-Flash Cache-Tier/Capacity-tier) and suited for the intended workload.
