vSAN not displayed as option in Converter destinations for P2V

I am trying to do a P2V conversion with vCenter Converter Standalone, but when I get to the destination location, only the  hosts datastores are displayed, is using a vSAN not supported for converter?

Hello vvalenzuela,

Looks like expected behaviour:

VMware Product Interoperability Matrices

How much space on the local datastores and how big is the largest vmdk? You could temporarily move VMs there then SvMotion to vsanDatastore.

If these local datastores are too small and this is a new vSAN cluster, you could consider using some of the vSAN drives to extend the VMFS local datastores temporarily (Yes I know, far from ideal but options nonetheless).

Alternatively use something else like backup-restore solutions such as Veeam.

Thanks I'll have to look into a backup solution since the datastores are too small.
