vSAN licensing

Hello all,

I'm planning the upgrade of the VCSA and hosts that are on version 6.7 U3, to version 7.0U3.

My question is:

After the upgrade of the vcenter, my vSAN Enterprise license will need to be upgraded too?

Thanks.

Regards,

Yes you have to upgrade your licenses aswell.

As you can se here https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2150753  the ESXi and vSAN Versions are closely bundled. Im the major version 6 changes to 7 you need to upgrade the licenses.
