I'm testing out the File Service to create some NFS file shares.
When you enable the service you have to configure a primary IP address and some secondary IPs. You may later reconfigure the the service but not the primary IP address. Even if you disable the service and enable it later, it will restore the old configuration and the old primary IP address.
The only way I found to change this primary IP is to deleting all the existing file shares!! then you may disable and enable the service to restart the configuration wizard. I cannot believe you have to go through so much pain and destruction to update an IP address.
Is there any other way?
