Hi all!
We all know vSAN ESA is (today) available as vSRN, so that means the rules for adding hw to that nodes are clear:
https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/90343
But what about adding nics NOT dedicated or shared with vSAN ESA traffic? Is it supported to add a 10 GbE nic card to an ESA node not for vSAN traffic? I'm thinking about VM traffic for example.
And yes: it's all about trying to save money for switch ports
Thanks
Andrea.
@AndreaScarabell, I can't see any issues with that - ReadyNode allows adding additional ESXi-supported NICs and you aren't using them for vSAN traffic so there should be no strict requirements of bandwidth/throughput etc. .

Correct, fully supported.
